Christmas market with a good feeling

Green is not only the tree

Hosting events means taking responsibility. We are aware of this. One of Europe's largest Christmas markets, with millions of visitors, has a responsibility to keep its footprint as small as possible. It was not just since the energy crisis in 2022 that we began paying attention to the impact of our decisions on waste, energy consumption, and efficiency.

Hello, LED! – instead of halogen

Can you imagine Christmas without Christmas lights? Neither can we. A Christmas market takes place on the shortest days of the year and thrives on its atmospheric atmosphere during the dark winter months. Lights sparkle, glow, and shine everywhere. We rely on LED lighting for all new installations and provide our retailers and vendors with tips on how to implement energy-saving solutions. Because each stall covers its own energy costs, every self-responsible retailer also has a financial incentive to save electricity.

DEW21 gives us its green electricity

The energy for all electricity consumers in our Christmas town comes from DEW21. Our cooperation partner supplies us with sustainably produced electricity from 100% renewable energy sources under the "Strom Grün" tariff. You can do the same for your home!

Cooperations

Christmas is a celebration of love and gratitude for friends and family. This is already evident in the contemplative pre-Christmas season. We, too, are grateful for our friendly partnerships, which help us become a little better every year. Not just for us, but for all our visitors.
