An attraction every year

Largest Christmas tree in the world

13 winter steps, grey and cold, stroll across city asphalt.

The smell of snow is in the air, mixed with the sweet scent of cookies.

Today's destination is Hansaplatz, where a Christmas treasure is supposed to be.

The world's largest Christmas tree! Who put it there?

Santa Claus with his helpers? That's what it could have been like.

The tree is 45 meters tall! Children, mothers, and fathers are amazed!

48,000 lights reflect shiny faces on sweet, sugar-red apples

and crispy brown Alpine bread.

17 Hundred beautiful spruces cover the Christmas tree with needles,

until even the smallest child finds joy in the balls.

Bright large ornaments give eyes moments of happiness,

the Christmas tree paints a fairy tale, its angel on top shines.

He radiates from the heart of Dortmund, sending peace into every home.

The largest Christmas tree in the world. I wonder if you like it?

Colorful Christmas magic! Dress up and come on over!

To all hearts that gaze upon the tree, I wish "Merry Christmas!"
