Giveaway Terms and Conditions

1. Organiser

The organiser of this giveaway is Dortmunder Weihnachtsstadt.
This giveaway is not affiliated with Instagram and is in no way sponsored, supported or organised by Instagram. The sole point of contact and responsible party is the organiser.

2. Participation period

The giveaway starts on 15 December 2025 at 5 pm and ends on 19 December 2025 at noon.
Entries submitted outside this period will not be considered.

3. Eligibility

Participation is open to all natural persons aged 18 or over who are resident in Germany.
Participation takes place via Instagram in accordance with the conditions described in the giveaway post (e.g. liking, commenting and, where applicable, following the account).

Each person may enter the giveaway only once.
Automated entries, multiple entries and entries via competition services are not permitted and will result in disqualification.

4. Prize

A total of 3 prizes will be drawn, each consisting of:

- 1× Christmas baubles (set of 4)
- 4× scarves
- 1× Dortmund Monopoly

The prize cannot be redeemed for cash, exchanged or transferred.
The prize must be collected from the event office at Dortmund Christmas City by 30 December 2025.

5. Winner selection & notification

The winners will be selected at random from all valid entries after the participation period has ended.

Winners will be notified by direct message (DM) on Instagram.
If a winner does not respond within 48 hours of notification, the organiser reserves the right to draw a new winner.

6. Disqualification

The organiser reserves the right to disqualify participants who breach these terms and conditions or attempt to manipulate the giveaway.

7. Liability

The organiser is not liable for technical malfunctions, failures or delays that could affect participation in the giveaway.

8. Data protection

Personal data collected for participation in the giveaway (e.g. Instagram username and, in the event of winning, name and address) is used solely to conduct the giveaway.

The data will be deleted after the giveaway has ended, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

9. Early termination

The organiser reserves the right to terminate or modify the giveaway early at any time for important reasons, where necessary.

10. Legal recourse

Legal recourse is excluded.
