On 21 November, live talk & music for the Christmas tree lighting

We invite you to the launch of Dortmund's Christmas City 2022, when the Christmas tree is traditionally lit on the day after Remembrance Sunday. Directly in front of the Christmas village on Hansaplatz, moderator Karin Niemeyer will welcome four guests: Mayor Thomas Westphal and Patrick Arens, Chairman of the Rote Erde eV (Red Earth Showmen's Association), along with Heike Marzen, Managing Director of Dortmund Economic Development. We also introduce the charismatic Dortmund native Dori Rindle, who, along with her non-profit organization Ganesh Nepalhilfe eV, will be appearing for the first time in the new Fair Trade Corner in the Christmas City, along with other newcomers.

About the artist Linus Bruhn:

With homemade acoustic videos of cover songs, the Hamburg native quickly built a large fan base on social media and participated in "The Voice of Germany" in 2015. There, he not only enchanted the audience but also won over Silbermond frontwoman Stefanie Kloß. Linus Bruhn presented his new Christmas single at the tree lighting ceremony.
